Favours dilemma!!

Hi folks

I am getting married in Cancun next year and having a big party when I return to Glasgow, Scotland. I am looking to give out flip flops as my favours to my guests back home to tie in with our theme and because I think all the ladies will appreciate kicking off there hig heels!

Can anyone recommend any goods sites where I can buy bulk flip flops for a decent price?

Thanks so much

Have you tried googling flip flops?  Bulk flip flops?  Wedding flip flops?  You will probably come up with some sites that way.

FWIW, I take my own flip flops with me when I go to a wedding if I am wearing shoes I know I won't want to dance in all night.  Just be prepared to have lots of left over flip flops.

As an adult, I am responsible for my own footwear at functions and events I attend.

FWIW:   I live in flip-flops from about mid-March through late October.  But I don't wear cheap ones~they hurt my feet.

So for me, a part of $2 flip flops would not be a favor at all.  Sorry.

I also wouldn't appreciate flipflop favours.  Let your guests be responsible for their own footwear and give them an edible treat they're more likely to enjoy.

All the answers you already got would seem to indicate no.

I did flip flops at my wedding, but just as an extra thing on the side and only provided around maybe 30 pairs to women who wanted to take off their heels and dance and didn't have other shoes with them.  I'd suggest diong that instead of giving each guest a pair as a favor.

I love this idea. We are doing a flip flop basket.

I am getting them from Old Navy. The other day they had a sale and I got purple ones for a dollar each. It worked because this is my wedding color.

In November they tend to do their dollar flip flop sale on all colors.

Everyone i have mentioned this to loves the idea of flip flops. I also bought my bridesmaids each a special pair to wear for the reception.

I am getting a pair of flip flops for each of my bridesmaids to wear when we're taking photos so nobody has to worry about heels sinking in the grass, and so they can take their heels off later in the night if they want.  (they all expressed an interest in having flip flops, so I offered to get them...I know they'll be appreciated, and I was able to ask their sizes so I know they'll fit)

I'd be leery of using flip flops as a favor on the sizing issue alone...if you're wearing poorly sized flip flops they can be a pretty bad trip hazard.  Everybody has different size feet, so it would be hard to guess what mix of sizes to get for your guests.
