We did ours today too with a tax lady. Im disgusted by the amount of taxes we paid last year. We did get a decent refund though.

I'm grading papers. I don't wanna anymore. I think H and I are about to watch Gremlins though (i've never seen it before and since he couldn't answer my questions after explaining the rules of owning a gremlin one night, I had to buy it and see for myself).

My main question - if you can't feed a Gremlin after midnight, what time can you start feeding him again?

Here, having income tax return celebration beers and watching Take Shelter with Adam. Its got the van alden dude from boardwalk in it and he sees the apocalypse coming? Sounds like my kinda movie.

I also just ordered my new heart rate monitor, im pretty excited. Cost me 70$ less to order it on Amazon.com than to buy it in Canada.

I'm waiting to hear about H's possible but hopefully not happening transfer. They want him to go to a store that is further away ( $200 per month MORE in gas) and that has shitty scores (so bye-bye $5k yearly bonuses) because they think he can make the store better.

Hi ladies!

I'm hanging at home having some wine and just vegging out while J is at the Devil's game with her best friend. I had to bring my car which has just over 28,000 miles on it to the dealership today because something is wrong with the transmission. Now I know know they stopped making Mercurys.

We did our taxes this week and last, it took over a total of 10 hours and made me want to pull out all my hair, DOMA sucks.

I think so. His current boss just started her FMLA leave yesterday too, so he can at least stall the decision. He's got a few job applications floating around so hopefully the one he really wants will call him back.

Blue, H has an accountant that he's used for years. I used to do my own, but go through him now that we file jointly. We have 5 jobs between the 2 of us, so no way are we figuring out all that on our own.

Thanks Sesh! No I never AWed my pro pics, I'm hardly around and I didn't get my disc until after I started my new job, I would have felt like a douche to just swing by and AW some pictures.

We do our own using Turbo Tax. It was beyond annoying between the whole having to file single for the fed and married/CU separate for the state plus now I work in a different state than I live so I had to do two states... I wanted to cry one night, then I realized it was 1:30am and we had been sitting there for 6 hours and that it was time to step away lol.

Hi! I am sick and stuck at home tonight.

H usually does our taxes for us. He does all the bookkeeping four our business anyways. I am a little bit jealous of you guys getting tax returns. That's the one thing I don't like about being a business owner, taxes suck.

We paid someoe this year and I finally convinced H to let me use TT next year. The ladies at the office were not the brightest (their error checking software caught 4 mistakes she made)and we both walked out going "Why did we just pay $260 to them?"
