Names on Envelopes

We are having a relatively casual wedding (in our backyard, etc.) and I'm getting ready to send out the invites, which are the DIY kind that you put through your printer.  Anyway, there's no inner and outer envelope, so I'm trying to figure out how to do the addresses.  If it's a couple, i'm just putting the couple's name. But if there are kids involved, I can't decide/figure out how to address the envelopes.  Do I do, for example, Jen and Vince ______ and leave it at that; or do I do, Jen, Vince, Vincent and Lucas _________; or should I do The ______ Family?  Luckily, we're only inviting family kids, so I know they won't be too judgmental if I do the "wrong" thing, but I'm just at a loss right now!

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Re: Names on Envelopes

  • You should put:

    Mom and Dad Smith
    Jack and Jill
    Address
  • Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jones
    James, Katherine, and Suzanne Jones
    123 Sesame Street
    City, State
    Zip

You can do titles for children and put them on individual lines, but if they have more than one child it might make the address too tall for the envelope.
