Ring Help

We went shopping for our rings last night.  When we looked for my engagement ring six months ago, we picked out a traditional band that looked very nice with my engagement ring, which is a princess cut solitare.  The band was a 1 ct tw setting of princess cut diamonds.  When we went back to purchase it last night, the sales woman showed me the attached enhancer.  It looked so nice with my engagement ring (better than the one shown in the photo since my ring is a princess cut) I couldn't decide.  Now I don't know which to get.  Not sure why she did this because the one we were going to buy was quite a bit more expensive!  Undecided

My FI still likes the original choice - he is very traditional (plus choice 1 is more similar to his ring) but wants me to pick the one I like best.  Ideas?

All I can say is try on both of them again with your e-ring & pick one.  Keep in mind if you're going to where them all the time, which choice is more comfortable on your finger.  IMO it doesn't matter if your band is similar to your FI's or not, as a matter of fact, the bands that my FI & I picked are completely different, mine is white gold & has diamonds in it, his is yellow gold with no stones.
Sorry I couldn't be more help!

A band is more classic, more timeless ... I think.  But I agree with PP, try them on with the e-ring and go for comfort.

Personally, I am going with a band bc I can either wear it alone or with my e-ring. I'm planning to wear the band daily and put the e-ring on for dressing up (date nights, special events, holidays, etc)

i agree with the PP, if you ever decide to wear just your wedding band with no E-ring then you should go with your first choice - the band
