I just called and basically 'reported' a student to boss for general dumbassness. Student has been a PITA all semester--nothing major, just kinda rude. And what I reported to boss was nothing major but I'm certain she's going to go to boss w/ a sob-story and I happen to know it's not true...so I left boss a VM detailing why it won't be true.
Boss came up and confirmed the truth w/ me and now is rejecting the sob story.
(I was mostly covering my employee's tail--if boss completely bought it, she's have to buy that my kids weren't doing their jobs well and they WERE. I get a bit protective of my employees, they work hard)
Another student, who has been an absolute pleasure to deal w/, just came in and mushed her scantrons before her exam and begged to buy siome from me. I don't have any...but I told her to wait 10 min. 2 flights of stairs and me asking a favor of the nice secretary, the girl got to keep her money and has a scantron and won't fail her test or have to run ALLLL the way to the other end of campus for one.
