Its not much of an AW but I am getting my nails done over lunch and get to have a girls night out on Saturday. I don't remember the last time I had a girls night.

My FI and I are going to Austin this weekend for a romantic getaway. One year from tomorrow is our wedding date. Yay.

Friday is one year til our wedding also sleepyb! We are celebrating by going bowling because that's actually what we were supposed to do on the night he proposed in February. Then on Saturday I head to Minnesota for 10 days for work.

OK, I'm going to ask a really dumb question.....what is AW??

O.....M....... G!!!!!!!!!!

First, I have to confess that I am a habitual contest-enterer. And I also have won a lot of prizes including a year's supply of SoftLips, $1,000 to spend on/spoil my mom, and a Sony VAIO laptop. Those are just the "biggies." The bad thing is, I enter so many contests that I forget which ones I entered and when I'm told that I won, I don't believe them because I can't remember entering them. lol

Well, that happened again today. Got an email saying I was this week's winner for Oriental Trading Company's Your Big Day sweepstakes. Don't remember entering it, and they wanted me to download a form..... which I obviously didn't do. So I go on the OTC website, call their customer service # and.... yup. I won. I will be getting a $500 gc for OTC! I know, it's OTC, but they have a huge wedding section and I can also use it for items for the kids' OOT bags, as well as a few other odds n ends. I don't know that I'll find $500 in wedding stuff that I want but - WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!

Holy cow ChiGirl! that is awesome!! How exciting. I say we need to get together for a drink soon so you can teach me how to do that! LOL. You can get a ton of stuff for the wedding and other fun stuff too with OTC. Are you having any kid's theme bday parties this year? If so, stock up on stuff from OTC!
