  So happy to have found this blog. I'm also looking into this resort to host my wedding but there is barely info available.. Love that this resort has a chapel on it's grounds but the info on the wedding packages is not so detailed.. Does anyone know if they offer extras or customized packages?   Hello!! I just got engaged and have always wanted to go to Dominican Republic for my wedding. I have been non-stop searching everyday for ideas and advice on different locations. So far my favorite spot is with Barcelo Baravo, especially after reading what all of you wrote. I am planning on getting married next March 2013 with 10-12 of us. I really liked the Mint Breeze package also that the hotel offers. I am nervous that I will be charged a ton of additional costs, I see that the package takes care of the marriage taxes but not the actual fee for the judge. Does anyone know how much they charge for that?
  
  I also really really want to be able to dance with my dad and my fiance wants to be able to dance with his mother... and of course we would like to dance with eachother as well. Does the hotel do anything when it comes to stuff like that?
  
  I really appreciate your help and feedback because I am sooo new to this and am becoming very overwhelmed fast!

  Hi Ladies -
  
  I orginally had planned my pending fall wedding at the Majestic Colonial.  It is now underdgoing renovation and my TA has suggested I move the wedding to this resort.  I'm having a hard time getting any info and any information would be greatly appreciated. 
  
  I have a group of ~20 joining me.  Our party is mainly adults with two children under 12 and one infant.

  OMG!! I didnt receive these images from Marlene!! I ve been planning a Wedding at one of the Barcelo Resort in PC and its been so hard to cordinate everything with Marelne.. Can you send me the info you have as well!!! Ive been reading this feed and Im find it very interesting adn feel more confident in having my wedding there =)

  we are pretty set on the Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe in PC as well, we want to take a trip there in February to check it out, do we need to make appointments with tehe wedding coordinators before we go? any tips for our planning trip? We were wondering if they would offer a discount becuase we are considering a wedding there the next year. Anyone tried that? thanks!
