Question!

Hey ladies :-) My BFF asked me to be her MOH for her Oct 11 wedding. We are from MT but are making a seattle trip next weekend for dresses for her and me. Just wondering what shops you recommend? TIA

Well, I bought my dress at DB...

But, there is a store called Cicada that I want to go in everytime I walk/drive by it it. Downtown Seattle on 1st. They have a website, too, I think.

If you are going to be in Seattle on January 8-9, the Seattle Wedding Show will be going on.  They have a gown area where you can try on bridal dresses.  Here's the website:  http://weddingshow.com/ There is a post from a few days ago that describes tips and stuff for going.

I bought my dress and my BMs got their dresses at I Do Bridal in Wallingford.  Here's their website:  http://idobridal.com Most of their bridal dresses are under $1,000, and the BM dresses are in the $200 under range (for knee-length dresses at least, I didn't look at long BM dresses).

I second I Do Bridal- they have a great selection in many different price ranges.

I also went shopping at La Belle Elaine's near Seattle Center.  Depending on what "experience" you are looking for it could be a great option.  They have lots of different styles of both wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses.  Most of their dresses were a little more expensive than the ones I tried on at I Do Bridal, but not all of them.  They havve private changing rooms and a very nice "runway" with lots of mirrors for you to see yourself if that is something you want to do.

    Good luck!

I would recommend Pearls and Lace in Burien.  Most of their dresses were really reasonable, probably 800-1500.  You don't need an appointment and there are a ton of dresses to try on--and you can take pictures there.

    Good luck!

I bought my dresses from all that shimmers in tukwila. It seems like DB has a great selection especially for BM dresses and you can usually get them for no more than 130.. and some of them are super cute. :)
If you go to southcenter, there is also an alfred angelo which is along the same lines as db right around the corner! GL!

Cynderellies Closet in Edmonds is terrific!  They had a wide selection of dresses all under $1500.  You also get a discount on bridesmaid dresses there if you buy the bride's dress and there is a discount on accessories.  I would highly recommend the experience!

    I agree with PP.

I bought my dress from there and had a wonderful experience on three different occasions!
