Just got off the phone with the DJ

And I am getting soooooooo excited!! I was a little worried at first having to choose a DJ off of the preferred list for the venue. Both FI and I are from the caribbean so we have a very diverse taste in music, soca, reggae, dancehall, hip hop, R&B, neo soul...all that! I just picked the DJ cause all of them looked the same to me and read the same meaning their BIO's. But speaking with him over the phone today, I know I made the right choice..he is so excited and hyped about all the music selections. I sent him pages of music...so he has it all downloaded and excited to see the energy in the party cause he said all the songs are full of energy. My family loves to party so I feel a little bit better knowing that the DJ likes the music....

Bits and pieces of the whole shebang!

FI was excited about everything once meeting our DJ also. He got super excited then, so I was happy. Our DJ is originally from London, but they were talking music and it was all good from there. Congrats!

Loving the playlist!... I'm gonna steal some of those soca/calypso songs for me to load on my ipod so that I can play them on Barbados' Independence day...lol...
