Was the Sturbridge Host your venue, any thoughts, advise etc

We are getting married at the Sturbridge Host in October.  I know one other couple who got married there and spoke very highly of how well everything went.  Has anyone attended or gotten married there.  I would love to hear your experience.

    I went to a wedding there in August and it was very nice. They got married right by the lake and then went into cocktail hour that was in the foyer outside the reception area, and then went to the bar after the reception. A few things to consider/keep in mind:
    It is a public lake, so half way during the reception, a motor boat was being obnixious so we missed a little bit of the ceremony (not too much, but a lil annoying). Also, since it was a resort, there was a lot of other renunions and other gatherings going on, that we walked by.

    Overall, I really enjoyed the wedding, and I really like the whole resort feel. My husband didn't feel like the room was as clean as it should be (there was a dead bug splatter on the wall), but overall it the venue was nice and the wedding was really nice.
