bach party..wine tour/spa day

Hello all!! We are trying to plan an outing for our friend that is getting married. We really wanted to do a wine tour/spa day and I hear there are a bunch of things to do like this in the dc/va area. If anyone has any ideas they could pass my way I would really appreciate it!!  thanks!!!

For spa day-try Bliss.  Or another favorite of mine are the Aveda salons and the Red Door Salons.
There are a few wineries-my favorite is in Maryland-Linganore Winery.  But there are also a bunch of wine trails in VA too.

My some of my fav wineries are:

    Loudon County
    --Hillsborough Winery
    --Sunset Hills Vineyard
    --Tarara

    Fauquier County
    --Chateau O'Brien
    --Pearmund
    --Molon Lave

If you plan to stay down here in a hotel, you could have a mobile spa come to you.  I used www.indulgemobilespa.com for a bach. party last year.

Check out Mediterranean Cellars  in Virginia for a winery.  They're great!

The Loudon County wineries are great! Fabbioli Cellars and Loudon Valley Winery are two of my favorites (as well as Tarara!). Lansdowne Resort is a short drive from the wineries, and they have a spa there as well. The rate was only in the low $100s when I went there, but that was also during their off-season, so the rate may be a little higher in the Spring or Summer.

If you want to go a little further south, Williamsburg Winery is great as well, and there are some fantastic restaurants (The Trellis!) and tons of hotels near historic Williamsburg.
