Northside

Hey Ladies - I'm trying to help a friend with her wedding and thought I'd see what insight you all could provide.

She is looking for a venue on the north side of town sticking more towards Conroe, Huntsville, Woodlands. This will be a small wedding- 50-75 people. Hoping to keep the budget around 5K. They do want somewhere they can have ceremony & reception. And it won't be a very long thing. Maybe 3 hours or so start to finish. Both day of the week and time of day are up for negotiation.

She is willing to make some quick decisions if anyone remembers someone having a good "bridal extravaganza special".

If yall can think of somewhere great let me know. TIA

I hate to suggest the venue because she double booked my date, but she IS very affordable - Belle Rose Maison in Conroe off 1488.

There is a huge house on the property that works great for small receptions and there is an outdoor ceremony site also. It rents for about $1500, ceremony is extra. You can pretty much bring in your own vendors. There is a charge for caterers if you don't use her list.

If your friend is interested, make sure she TRIPLE CHECKS to see if her date is open. Contact is Debra Adams.

Heather's Glen in Conroe would be great for a smaller wedding, they have a chapel but the reception area is pretty much outside with some tables inside. It has a garden feeling to it. It's very pretty.

Heather's Glen and Belle Rose were the two I was going to mention.  If she is willing to stay a little further south (but still on the northside), maybe tell her to try Shirley Acres (Kuykendahl and Cypresswood...ish).  I know at least four people who got married there.

We're using The Grand Palace in Spring.  It's reasonably priced and the cost varies on how long you need it for, and they do have a 3 hour package.  The lady there is nice and will work with what your friend wants.  www.thegrand-palace.com

Also, take a look at Le Jardin (1960 area). I know they are pretty reasonable and let you bring in your own booze.

For under 100 people, The Vineyard at Waverly Manor charges I think $75/person.  Beautiful place, but the location didn't work for us.
