Dress Shopping

Tomorrow will be the first time i go try on dresses! I am so nervous.
Question... Did anyone find their "perfect" dress on the first try?

I know a few people who have, but I feel you should give yourself a fair shot and try on a few different ones. I know from previous posts that you're local to WPB, you should try Elizabeth Charles, thats where I got my dress from. it's a little more expensive, but she doesn't have the same dresses as big manufacturers (Davids bridal, Alfred Angelo, etc). i agree with pp...even if u find her (or him) lol you should still try on a lot of difference stuff...sometimes u might find something else and atleast u have more to compare to...and if you end up with the first one atleast u had the time to try on lots of wedding dresses.... its a once in a life time thing after all

I know someone who found their dress right away.. but the consultant made her try on a few more just to make sure! I didn't find mine right away... I think I tried on 8 or 9 dresses. And drink LOTS of water cuz I was sweating my behind off!

How fun! I found my dress on the first day

I went to Miracle Mile and there are so many great places there. It wasn't the first dress I tried on, but it only took me a few hours of trying on to find it. Have fun and good luck!

I agree with PP. Not only should you try more even after you find "the one", but you should try on styles/silhouettes other than what you are looking for. You might be surprised to find that you can find something you didn't even think you'd like.

I found my dress the first time I went shopping, but I honestly wasn't planning on buying her that day. I just couldn't pass on the deal.

It was during Filene's Basement's Running of the Brides sale they have once a year. I went just to have some fun trying on dresses. I tried on about 6 different kinds until I found her

Try every dress you can get your hands on. Be a dress whore lol. You don't want to have dress regret later on! I tried on, no joke 20+ dresses in 3 different visits to several boutiques.

I found my dress after a lot of tries, so go for it!

Just like Remy, I found mine on the first day but at like the 5th store on Miracle Mile. I didn't put a deposit on it because it was more than I was planning on spending but that next week, I hit up almost every bridal store around me and I ended up settling for one. Don't settle! Fall in looove, get the dress that you can't stop thinking about and looking at online after you try it on. I eventually went back and got my dream dress, I hope you have such a fun day tomorrow!

And, from my experience, all bridal stores lowered the cost of their dresses when I did a little "oh, I don't think I can spend that much" or "do you know when you are going to have a sale soon?" and looked real sad. It worked every single time! lol
