Venue Ideas... help!

Hi!  I'm recently engaged... just about 2 weeks now!

I've been doing a lot of research online looking for unique special venues.  Any ideas?  Anyone had a winery wedding that didn't cost a fortune?  We're open to anything.  Thanks in advance for your ideas & help!

Jill

As far as wineries go, Maddalena restaurant at San Antonio Winery, downtown, is very nice. I was just there yesterday. HTH!

It's not a winery, but Santa Ynez Inn is in Santa Ynez which is basically wine town! I can't recommend Santa Ynez Inn enough because Bethany (the wedding consultant at the hotel) does everything! Our wedding is under 10K and it's going to be beautiful! I can't wait!

I'm not sure how big of a wedding you are having, but there is this great place called Malibu Family Wines. They have awesome wine and a couple different locations to choose to have your ceremony. Its located off of Kanan and Mullholland. Their wine is so yummy and if you become a member you get an extra 10% off a case.

    Good Luck

I am having my wedding at Taglyan Complex in Hollywood. Extremely beautiful and unique.

I've heard that Gainey Vineyard is great and set up nicely.  I checked out Firestone Vineyard- but it's like $8000 for just the spot.  Beautiful, but not cheap.  I've looked through Santa Barbara up to Arroyo Grande area- what area are you looking at in particular?

For our wedding we're chartering a yacht in Marina del Rey - FantaSea Yachts.  Their pricing packages include food, bar, flower allotment, and usually a cake.  They're really friendly and they worked with us on the budget.
