Traditional Themes

Hi,
I'm hoping to get a little feedback regarding themes.  We really wanted to get married in the fall, but the place we really want to have the wedding at only had a June date available.  We still would like to have a fall theme and colors though.  Would it be silly to have a fall theme at a spring/summer wedding?  Thanks in advance for your input!

Re: Traditional Themes

  • I probably wouldn't do a fall theme as I do think it will be weird.  You can still use the same colours though!

  • I think the whole theme and the colors matching the seasons is silly. Go with what colors you love. A theme is not required, but fine if you do.

My wedding colors were my 2 all time favorite colors along with an accent color. I would say our wedding was a traditional & classic affair that kinda had a vintage feel to it based off of my dress.

All this theme, matchy matchy stuff is due to the wedding industry trying to dupe people into thinking that way so they can buy all the fancy things that go along with it. Plan the wedding with you and your FI's vision of what you want and no one elses.
