First Response Cards!!!

So I've been MIA lately becuase my internship has been crazy! But it's almost over YAY! 

So I sent out our invites on the first! Today I got our first 2 response cards! Super exciting! Since we are doing a buffet dinner, we are asking people to request a song instead of an entree. I'm excited to see what peaople request. Might have to edit out some of the obscure ones before giving the list to the DJ. Anyone else doing this?

    What a fun idea! We asked for "creative replies"...they have been alot of fun to see :) Here is a pic of one of my favs so far !

    That response is super cute! I don't think my guests would have been creative enough to come up with something like that! But getting responses back is so exciting!! We sent out our invitations a few weeks ago and we have more than half of the responses! Its fun racing to the mailbox to see how many we get each day :-)

    We did online RSVPs thru our website for various reasons and there is also a song request tab.  My only issue with the request tab is it leaves space for 5 or 6 songs and people feel the need to fill in all the spaces.  So we have something like 20 song requests from 3 people!  They aren't so much obscure as excessive (let's get serious, no one would go up to the DJ that many times).  We think we'll aim for the songs that overlap the most (so multiple people feel like it is "their" song) and pick at most 1 from each person unless we were going to play it anyways.
