I'm looking at having a small wedding (50 people or less) in 2011(flexible with the month)....I want to do something unique for my wedding, I'm interested in the southeastern WI area. any suggestions? thanks

Are you looking at Milwaukee? Or Racine/Kenosha? That'll make a difference.

In Racine, you can have your ceremony and reception at the Zoo. Or the Lighthouse.

What do you mean by unique?

Cuvee is supposed to be a really cool place to have a Wedding reception.

Another unique place to have a reception is Roots.

A friend of mine had an all appetizer/cocktail themed reception and it was amazing. I think it was fairly affordable too.

People say great things about Hotel Metro. I've never been but checked it out online, but it was too small for my wedding.

Not sure what types of things you and your fiance are interested in....but here are a list of places that we looked ...but just go to be out of our budget for our 150 person wedding.

Miller Park
Harley Museum
Milwaukee Musuem

Coast Restaurant is a pretty cool place, as is cuvee. Cuvee is a bit pricey though.

The Milwaukee County Museum and the Botanical Gardens also offer some nice "different" Locations.

I am totally all about the unique myself. Let me know if you need help with other suggestions.
