Just out of curiosity...

Who are all of our 2011 brides????

I feel like I "know" most of who is left for 2010, and I do know that there are a handful of us 2011ers...but it doesn't feel like many!  Maybe ten or so that I can think of.

So where are you at?  And what's your date?

    I'm here!! May 7, 2011. 

    FI & I are just now starting to get things rolling again (I hope). I've been dreaming for quite a while, the main thing that we still need is a reception hall (I know the one that we're looking at is still available for my date) and a cake vendor and last, but not least $$$$.

    Us too on a cake vendor! And trying to get FI to pick his GMs. It is like pulling teeth.

    I'm here.  April 2, 2011
    I have most of the big things covered: church, hall, limo, my dress, BMs dresses, photgrapher, photobooth, dj, centerpieces, cake.

    I am meeting with 1 more florist this weekend for bouquets/bouts and then I should have that decided.

    We picked out the invitatations but are just waiting to order them. 

    We got lucky though because our hall included SO MUCH.  Centerpieces, cake, dj, upgraded linens.  So it just left us to pick out what we wanted.

    The bakery is called Hermann's in Royal Oak.  They have very reasonable prices and the cakes were pretty darn good.

    I'm here...and have been for quite sometime.  We've been engaged a year this coming Saturday!  ahh how time flies!

    May 21st.  We have pretty much the big things done except limo and cake.  Although the cake is on hold because FI is having surgery and can't eat anything solid for like a month!

    I'm here too.  November 19, 2011. I will be here long after most of you are already gone.  I think I am the farthest out or almost the farthest out.


    We have the church, hall, DJ, and photog booked.  I am looking at Photobooths right now.  Still need to find a florist, DRESS, linens company, cake, and all the other small things that go into a wedding.  But I still have lots of time.  I am loving all the wedding planning...we will see how much I am loving it this time next year!  :)

    I'm here and the date is August 27th. We have the ceremony and reception locations booked, photographer booked as well. Now I'm trying to find a florist, and decide if I want a videographer. I want one but I don't want to spend a whole lot of money for one. I'm going to try on dresses this week so we'll see how that goes.

    I'm here - Date is TBD (thinking August 20, 2011) Hopefully will have the reception venue decided on by the end of next week and I already have a church for my ceremony =)

    Hello all,


    July 16, 2011!! We're having ceremony and reception in our backyard. 60 people max, so guest list is finalized. Photographer is booked. We have our save the dates and wedding invites picked out, but we haven't bought them yet.


    Have been looking at dresses, but haven't tried any on yet.Am trying to lose a few pounds of summer beer beforehand.


    Mostly, our wedding planning has centered around our home renovation. We bought it 5 months ago, and we've really broken our backs trying to get it looking beautiful. Everyday we get closer, and i'm hoping that by July 15th, it will look wonderful!Sealed

    April 16th here and rocking the macomb county!

    I've loads done, just slacking on the cake and small details like makeup and hair. OH and I cant decide on shoes for the life of me. The big stuff is all done though so thats good.

    tcage001, we are date twins! 8/27/11 !

    I've got the venue (chapel & banquet), will decide on the caterer in the next couple of weeks, waiting for response from potential DOC and hair/makeup, have DJ, lining up photographer, and TONS of DIY crap laying around at least 4 corners of rooms in my house! Plus the garage!

    I haven't introduced myself yet, although I've been lurking for the past couple of months. I'm September 24th, 2011. We have our hall, ceremony site, DJ, photographer and cake all checked off the list. I look foward to chatting with everyone this upcoming year!

    I'm here!  August 13, 2011!  I have a church, and am signing a contract with my reception venue tomorrow!  I also have found a photographer and DJ, and will be signing with them this week as well.  I had a pretty difficult time getting room blocks - apparently there is a plumber's convention in Ann Arbor the weekend of my wedding.  Go figure, you just can't make stuff like that up!

    Anyway, I've only been on this board about a week, but I already think you ladies are great!

    May 21, 2011!     We're planning from a distance since we live in Charlotte, NC.  Both grew up in Michigan and wedding is in Monroe and reception is in Canton!

    We have most of the big stuff, but still need cake, BM dresses, and limo!

    Can't wait for next May.

    I am January 22, 2011!!! Very early in 2011! We still need to get our wedding bands, that is my biggest thing right now! I am pretty much set with everything else.

    Hi, I'm July 23rd.  I have booked our reception and ceremony site at Northville Hills Golf Club, the photographer, DJ, Florist, photobooth, got my dress, and the bridesmaid dresses.  Working on the officiant as of now and then I will be looking for a bakery.

    I'm here too...May 21, 2011 (I see there's a few of us!) :)

    I've been reading these boards a lot too, but just never got up the courage to post anything...lol :) So far, we've got the church, reception site, photographer, videographer, DJ, my dress, BM dresses, hair/makeup, hotel block, & will be sending out STDs in the next week!! Then it's on to finding a florist, cake & getting invitations figured out. Still lots to do in only 8 months...ahhhh!!!

    ahhh I feel so behind you guys are on top of everything!! I am honestly still kind of lost on this whole wedding planning and the idea of being engaged is just finally sinking in (2 weeks later Laughing) in a good way!

    Just started planning...only have been engaged for about a month. But we have our reception venue booked (Italian American Cultural Center formally Partridge Creek) and we have our DJ booked- JD Entertainment.
    I am meeting with Photographers, Videographers and Florists throughout the next week. Monday I am taking the day off work b/c my Mom is flying in from TX so we can look at wedding dresses. I'm still working on churches for the ceremony since we  currently don't belong to one.
