any one in OK?

I have a friend that has to rehome her dog. She wants it to go to a good home and I'm just trying to help her out.

Well I hope you mean rehome.

Get rid of makes the animal seem like garbage.

How come s/he cannot keep said animal? Did they eat her shoes? I hope your friend's name is not Stacie.

I'm sorry, as a person who volunteers with a pet rescue and sees thousands of dogs killed every day, that is a stupid reason to get rid of your dog.  She's not "rehoming", she's getting rid of it.  Re-homing would be if your child were deathly allergic to the dog or you have done everything you can to help the dog.  Has she tried a behavorist or a trainer?  If not, she's not doing the right thing by the dog.
Please have her call a rescue and not just give the dog away.  Where do you think dog fighting rings get their bait dogs?

Stacie is a girl who posted on the E board that she had to get rid of her dog because the dog was eating her shoes. She got so frustrated she locked the dog out of the house in the summer texas heat and would not allow the dog back inside, because her FI couldn't learn to shut the closet door. a real life matyr.

Kendall the people you know really chap my ass, I am not going to lie.

Your friend needs to see a trainer as to why the dog is scared of the husband. This doesn't happen overnight and dogs usually don't act like that for no reason.

this is a P&R because I am late to my grandpa's bday party.

She is afraid of the husband because the dog was abused by a previous owner (a male.) She's gone to trainers and nothing is working.

Not really the place to ask..
and as a dog trainer/shower growing up with my mom.. I hate people that "get rid of" animals (that's how I see it.. there is no such thing as rehoming.. you don't send a teenage child to adoption without devistating them for life. I feel the same about animals).

I feel like you and Katelyn keep posting stupid things because you want to participate in the conversation on these boards, but they are generally stupid questions or put you in a bad light.  Why on earth would you think to ask this page if anyone wants a dog in Oklahoma?  Go to the Oklahoma local board, that would make more sense.  And Katelyn's dumb question about a honeymoon destination in Hawaii that she's already booked 10 months in advance is nearly as dumb.  Or her post about some random news story about soldiers who commit suicide.  Or YOUR post about a "hypothetical" question about defrauding the military.

Just because you're engaged to someone in the service doesn't make all your questions relevant to the military board or interesting to those who post here.  I post on my local board, too, because a lot of my questions are more relevant there - if I asked you all for a DJ recommendation near my venue, it wouldn't be much good to me.  Similarly, ask honeymoon questions on the honeymoon page and local-specific questions on that appropriate local page.

If you see casual conversations that pop up between posters, it's because we like each other and want to chat.  There's been no temper tantrums from either of you recently, so I think for the most part we're all just choosing to deal with you as you present yourselves now, but it doesn't suddenly make us feel all warm and fuzzy towards you both. Kendall, you've seemed to make a genuine attempt to be nicer, better, more open minded, so I'm feeling a bit more open to giving you a bit of a fresh start, but Katelyn seems to feel like she's 'snuck' back in under a new name and can be everybody's best buddy. I'm not buying it.
