Photographer check & Question..

Check! We booked out photographer yesterday =) the only concern I have its... we paid around $2400... besides the venue thats the higest expense for us. He is a REALLY good photographer and we are getting allot with the package like Wedding albums the beautiful hard back ones, 7 day hours coverage, engagement, bridal, family, bodiour and pin up sessions, canvas photo, wedding dvd, optic crystal picture frame..... but at the same time I think we are paying to much... but they say you get what you pay for. 

What is everyone else doing with their potographer??

    You do get a lot for that price!!! I know that in different areas it different prices.... We are paying $1475 for our photographer. That includes videography, photography for 6 hours, engagement session, photo rights to all of our photos engagement and wedding, I may do a boudior photos not sure but if I do its an extra $250. Congrats on your check!!!

    Congrats on your check. You got a great price.

    In my area, for what you're getting, we'd pay well over 6000$ for that.

    We have all day coverage, rights to all pictures, 600 4x6 prints, 50 thank you cards and a photobooth for 3000$.

    I was in sticker shock of how much photographers cost until i read an article about how much time and materials they use. Sounds like a good deal. I got for 2300 an engagment session, print rights, 8x10 then for tyhe wedding full day coverage from when i say to start till end of reception, 2 parents albums 8x8, our albums 10x10, 4-8x10, 6-5x7, 8 wallets, and an 11x14. I know looking around it is deff worth the price and her work is AMAZING :)

    I am skipping out on videographer but booked the photographer a few days ago. For $2300 we have all day of 2 photographers + a bridal assistant that travels with them. It includes all rights, but no prints. It also comes with the engagement session. I felt like it was a bit of a splurge but I am confident we picked an excellent company.

    We're paying $2500 and that was very inexpensive for my area.  Most of the photographers I was looking at started at $2500 and it included almost nothing!  We get this photographer all day, engagement photos, wedding albums, prints, ect.

    We haven't booked ours yet but were looking at $2,000 for engagement photos, with 6 hrs of wedding coverage and that's it ... that's the best price I could find with really good quality. We haven't booked yet but I'm thinking this is it & considering I had to stretch my budget I'm still nervous.

    You sound like your getting a lot for a great price!!!

    I am in awe of how much y0u re getting. Pricing here is outragous. For the price you are paying you would be getting uyour basics. Not all the extras either. Im still on the hunt

    Our photographer is costing us $2800.  For that we get an engagement shoot, 8 hours with 1 photographer & 3 hours with a 2nd photographer (for getting ready, during the first-look & the ceremony), unlimited images in color & black & white, a disc with all high-resolution images, full rights to all of our images, a custom wedding album, & an album online for guests to purchase from. 

    I really, really love our photographer & this is the one thing I would have gone over budget for if necessary. Luckily, she was in our price range :)
