Hi & Invite Question

Hi ladies! I haven't posted on the Sept 2012 board (or on TK in general) in forever - I hope all your wedding plans are going great!!

I am starting to freak out about invitations, I don't know what to do. I really wanted to have someone design the invite in a PDF and print and assmble everything myself using paper/pocketfolds from paperandmore.com but I am having a lot of trouble finding a design on etsy or a DIY template that I like. Any suggestions? What are you guys doing for your invites? Thanks!!!

    I found one on etsy that I liked ok and asked the designer to come up with something in my colors and was more of my liking. I am in love with the results and all I had to do was ask!

    I struggled with the same. I ended up designing my own thru Adobe Illustrator and getting them printed through catprint. There are plenty of tutorials on how to use Illustrator online and info about how to set up templates etc for the bleed. It came out way cheaper doing it myself and looks great!

    I used a local stationer.  We went through a bunch of books and then customized the paper types and colors.  Our invites are super traditional and formal (as is the wedding), so we didn't have all these fun choices that some brides do.

    I'm making ours.  Our paper was actually just delivered yesterday!  I designed everything in Photoshop.

    I would look around Etsy and find a seller whose style is similar to your own/what you're looking for, and then message for a custom request.  I've been doing those a lot lately and I'm starting to think I'll probably be doing more often even after the wedding because I've been getting exactly what I want.
