DFW- Cheap Flowers??!

I am looking for a cheap way to do flowers for my DFW wedding. Is it possible to stay under $800 for flowers?? I have no idea where to start. Know any cheap florists that are creative?

Check out the local farmer's market to see if you can arrange for them to do centerpeices and bouquets- since they sell really nice bouquets for 10-20 dollars your bouquet won't cost an arm and a leg.

We had them do centerpeices for my sister's wedding at $15 a table. Very affordable.

If you are crafty check out fiftyflowers.com or costco. HTH

I used Growing Ideas in Midlothian. I gave her my budget and she worked within that budget to get me what I wanted.

I know that one girl used Farmstogo.com and enjoyed their services.

Costco and Sam's offer wedding floral services as well.

A year before my wedding I went to a farmer's market and they didn't have anything good floral wise. The majority of it was over priced too.

I used Market Street in Colleyville but they have other locations.  Central Market also has some nice flowers as well.  Any good florist will talk to you, ask about your vision and your budget and then tell you what they can do for you.  My husband orders from Bice's a lot and a Knottie on here used them before and was happy.

Normally, we have a vendor site where it lists all the specific vendors that we use but I think it's down right now.

If you're willing to do them yourself, you can do it very cheaply. We did all the bouts, bouqets, and centerpieces for $300 using farmstogo.com

I took classes from the Fort Worth Flower Connection--it was great.

All of it was doable with my sister's help, though it does add to the stress of the day!
