Different or matching vests?

Hi all..
My fiance and I finally decided on our colors (after nearly a year!) and now we've been trying to incorporate them in the wedding party.

Question is, who should wear what color?  The main two colors are a charcoal grey and apple green, with gold accents and a bit of ivory/cream.  My fiance wants to incorporate both on his side--should he wear a vest in one color while his two groomsmen wear the other?  Should they wear the opposing tie colors?

My bridesmaids are going to wear this dress in charcoal with either a green or gold accent:

Do you think it would look better if the groomsmen wore charcoal vests to match the bridesmaids, or should they stand out on their own with green?  We're skipping coat jackets so these vests will be very prominent.

    we did the groomsmen in the same color as the bridesmaids and then my fiance decided to wear that color to what color are you bridesmaids dresses

    If the bridesmaids are all wearing gray, I think I'd like to see the groomsmen in another color to keep from having too many neutrals. I'd probably have the groomsmen in green and the groom in gray.  The groom could also wear champagne if you end up with the gold accent for your BMs. There are a lot of great combos and I'm sure it's going to look very nice!

That's really the best way to figure out colors.
