Hey ladies, how was your weekend?  Get any WR checks done?

Saturday morning, I had my hair trial.  I loved the curl & the back, but the front wasn't exactly what I was thinking.  I told her the things I wanted to change up a bit & know it will look amazing on our wedding day.  That afternoon, FI & I had our first meeting with our priest.  It went great & we worked on some of the ceremony stuff & he told us we'll be working on vows the next time we see him in 4 weeks!

Sunday, FI & I finished our slideshow!!!  Ahhh... It feels so good to have it done!  = )  We also decided on the design of our programs & made a mock up.  I'll be working on them tonight & hope we can get them done by next weekend.  Also, found a rack at Goodwill, that we're going to use for our guests to write their own escort cards, so they can save their seats.  Thanks Laura, for that idea!  = )

All in all, it was a great weekend for wedding checks!  I can't believe how close we are now!

    Sorry I have been missing the last week. I was put on a Jury last week, had two big projects due for my class that ended last week, and too much stuff going on in the evenings!

    We are into our final countdown now so Friday FI got the thank you cards for each place setting printed and cut. Ran a bunch of errands to get last minute things like the serving fork for the cake, garter... various odds and ends like that.

    Saturday my mom came over and FMIL came over and we finished decorating the bathroom baskets and card basket. Made some really awesome wrist corsages for the moms and grandmas (I wish I had pictures to post b/c they turned out so well) and the bouts for the boys. Glued the thank you card things to left over card stock. Started getting the boxes packed up and ready to go. Washed all the glassware for the candy buffet and the centerpieces...

    Sunday FI and I had a low key day and just ran some more errands to pick up more odds and ends left on the list.

    Now I just need to make a few more little signs and finish getting things packed up.

    This weekend about all we got done wedding-wise wasFI stuffed and stamped all the invites- Now they are ready to be sent out any day here. I am excited to start getting RSVPs!!!   This week once our E pics I ordered are in, we can put together our photoframe cardbox(and by we, I mean mainly FI since I gave him this project.)

    Other than that I did some work trying to figure out our ceremony readings (done) and ceremony songs (a few checks, not completely figured out).

    I did a lot!
    I finished my bouquet, and BM bouquets, got the pocketfolds, mats, belly bands etc in the mail from cards and pockets,s o I put a few of those together ot see how they would look, I got the rest of my centerpieces finished, and I put the finishing touches on my boutonnieres.

    I did manage to get a few WR things done (kind of).

    Picked out the bridesmaids dresses-now just have to find a day to bring the girls in to try them on. I hope they work for everyone! Also my mom picked out a song for my sister to sing during the ceremony. And it's absolutely beautiful!

    Anytime :)  Ok... now I don't have anymore fun excuses to browse around HomeGoods.  I'm excited to see how yours turns out!

    Marriage related, I guess... when I went to get my new driver's license at the DMV... I discovered that I've never had the correct copy of my certified marriage certificate that is the embossed stamp version of the souvenir copy that I received from my church!   Somehow I managed to get my new SS card without it though? 

    I called Hennepin County and they apparently mailed it to us on June 8th... but I don't remember receiving it.  It was a bit of a chaotic mess in our apartment after returning from the honeymoon and to real life... so I guess I have some serious apartment searching to do tonight.  If I have no luck, the lady mailed us a new copy anyways!  Hopefully I can find the other copies that were mailed earlier.
