Anyone handwriting their own escort cards?

Of course, the procrastinator that I am waited until 5 days before my wedding to start on the escort cards. Woops. I'm too lazy to figure out how to run it through a printer (I bought the design off of someone from Etsy and she gave me a PDF so I can't just type the names in the file), so I'm handwriting my own. I have nice print handwriting...not good at cursive so I am writing them in my normal handwriting. I tend to write small...do you think this is bad? I don't like the way my handwriting looks when I write bigger. Also, do you think handwritten escort cards look tacky/cheap?

I hand wrote my own, after DIYing my invites, bathroom baskets, programs, etc i didnt want to DIY one more thing, so i just used the ones from the venue and handwrote them, they will end up in the garbage with everything else, so go ahead and do it, why stress yourself out 4 days before!

I handwrote (or I should say my mom did, thanks mom

) my own. They didn't fit through my printer (too small) and I didn't really have time to explore any other options. I'm sure it will be fine.

I see nothing wrong with handwriting them.

If you have Microsoft Word on your computer you could use the PDF as a watermark and create a border-less table to type the names in. Watermarks are under the page layout menu (or you can hit F1 for help on how to find it in your version).

ETA: You have to do a save as on the PDF and save it as a picture file in order to use it as a watermark. .TIF would be the highest quality.

One of my bridesmaids who has really nice hand writting did mine for me. I have leaves that Im putting on apples.

I'm hand writing mine (much to my mom's dismay...she says I have messy handwriting). If you do have small writing try practicing a few cards (not your good ones!) and step bak to see if the names are big enough to be seen at a slight distance.

My FMIL took this project for me. I bought a calligraphy pen, though, that makes any handwriting look fancier! I can't wait to see how they turned out!

FI has written everything so far...so that's just one more thing he's doing! He spent a ton of time while I was away working on a super cool board. I'm glad he's so involved!!

I handwrote mine last night. I just busted them out in my regular printing, long ago I thought of doing something nice, or fancy, but now I don't really care, I just want it done.
