**chelseakopperud**

I just saw from the weekly checks post that you are working on hula hoop chandeleirs. Are these for your tent? We are planning to do this, as well. Have you started on it yet? Any tips? AND do you have any pictures or inspiration of what the final product looks like?

Right now it is just an idea for us, so any pictures would be so helpful!

I am SOOOO excited about these! I saw them on Pinterest. Here is what they are supposed to look like when completed:

    I think its AWESOME!!!!

I haven't started on it yet. I need to get the supplies and then get going. I plan to do a lot of DIY projects while my MOH is here over Christmas. I love how this looks and how cheap it is going to be! I am thinking I will wait to buy the lights until after Christmas when they are on major sale.

ETA: Yes- this is for our tent :)

  • Exactly! we are waiting to buy xmas lights until they go on sale :)

Are you doing them kind of scattered throughout the tent? Or looped together at all?

Tent roofs are so hard to decorate becuase all the supports are in the middle. Annoying!

I am kind of leaving that up to my dad. He is super handy and knows how to do the technical parts of this. Right now, I am planning on making two (one on each half of the tent), but I might buy extra supplies to make more if we decide last minute we want 3 or 4 instead of 2.

  • Thanks! Let me know how it turns out. We probably won't start on them until Jan/Feb.
