Handwritten Invitations?

What is your take on handwritten invitations ... done by yourself?  I got a nice black pen and want to do them myself since I have nice handwriting.  But ... do you think it's better to print them on the computer?  I'm having a hard time visualizing the labels on an envelope still looking okay.

If you have really nice wrinting then I say go ahead. I'm guessing you have a cream or white colored envelope?  I think it would look better than a printing label.  Just make sure you have surplus envelopes for mistakes.  Good luck and happy planning.  You're almost thereSmile

From an etiquette standpoint, you're really supposed to handwrite addresses to your invitees.  Its not something I would care about if I received a non-handwritten envelope, but something to think about.
I'm printing my envelopes in a really light color, and then writing over in a calligraphy pen since I have awful handwriting. And I agree w/ pp--keep extra envelopes on hand. Even with printing, there are sometimes mistakes.

Thank you so much!  I'm happy to hear that it's the better idea.  With the snow storm happening, it's a great day to start!

    Have a good weekend Smile
