Just curious with all the new wedding cake decorations and cupcake craze what everyone is serving!

The dinner or lunch menus offered to you by your venue ALREADY INCLUDE A DESSERT because these are the menus that they offer to everyone: charity luncheons, fundraiser balls, etc.
So if you sign a contract for the dinner menu AS IS, you are paying for the dessert AND then you will pay for your wedding cake to be served later on in the evening. The venue will add a CUTTING fee, sometimes called a PLATING fee, for their staff to cut and serve your cake.
BUT...
If you TAKE OFF THE DESSERT from the prepared menu, then the waitstaff will cut and serve YOUR CAKE AS THE DESSERT TO THE MEAL, and you won't pay an additional CUTTING fee.

<div>This is probably the deal at your venue, but all venues are different. Our venue has meal packages, some come with dessert, some don't. There is not cake cutting fee regardless of what package you choose. This was a pretty weird post- not everyone has the same circumstances. </div>

we had a vanilla cake with napolean filling with whipped cream frosting. each table got 2 plates of italian cookies, chocolate covered strawberries etc... it was delicios.
We will do cake served with 2 chocolate covered strawberries
