Airbrush makeup

Never heard of it until I joined TK.

Is this common in salons around here (NH)?  Whats the cost?

I don't wear a lot of makeup, just powder, eyeliner and mascara usually. Occasionally I will wear concealer around my nose and on my chin to combat redness.  I want to look good on my wedding day, of course, so I'm weighing my options.  I tried Revlon color stay foundation this weekend but I did not like it, it emphasized all the wringles around my eyes :(.

Sephora now does Airbrushed make-up. I don't know what the cost is.

Eh, Sephora is only in Salem or Nashua, much too far.

    Thanks for the info though

Regardless of the techniques used, a good makeup artist should be able to cover up and/or minimize things you don't like, and emphasize the things you do.  I know airbrushing sounds like an attractive option, but even if you can't find a MUA who uses it, you should still be able to find one who does an entirely satisfactory job on your face!

I agree with DrPB...Dont have someone airbrush you if they arent a pro and you havent seen a lot of their work. Check out make-up artists online who are near you and find out whose style you like best. A lot specialize in wedding makeup that looks best photographed. Many have facebook pages as well. Once you find one you like schedule a consultation-then even if you dont like it, they dont cost that much and you can try someone else. :)

I went to a Bridal Show and I kept the card for airbrushing makeup because it sounds like a good idea. It seems expensive (150 and up), but it may be worth it if it holds up to what they say it does. If you interested in talking with them, I'm figuring they must do a trial to see if you like it. Pamphlet says they do hair, traditional make-up and Airbrushing make-up. Anyway, here's the information:

Thanks scrpio, I think I'm just going to do it myself. I can't afford to pay $150 for one day!!! Crazy!!

I just need to find primer
