My dress just arrived this week and it will definitely need some alterations. The bodice is ruched to the hip with a single strap. There's no beading or lace to deal with but the dress is so simple that any sloppy work on the seamstresses part will definitely stand out.
Does anyone have a suggestion for who to try or who to avoid? I work in San Francisco and live in the San Rafael area. But we may be moving to Emeryville so anything in the general area is doable.
