What is your wedding date and why did you choose it?

I can't pick mine out yet because of the immigration paperwork, but I'm hoping for around August so that my FSIL can come to the wedding. She's a teacher in England and it's even harder for them to get time off over there then it is here because a teacher taking a prolonged amount of time off is paid their full wage and the substitute that takes over is paid the same wage as a normal teacher.

    I'm not really sure why TBH... I wanted a short engagement, at first I was thinking winter to get the off season discount.  But then I found a place that I could afford to get in Spring.  But then I ended up going with another venue entirely and stuck with Spring anyways.  And it just happened to be 5-21.

    June 25, 2011, and it's because that's when our venue was free.  I wanted a spring/summer wedding.

    June 9, 2012 - We met at the rehearsal for our mutual friends' wedding, June 9, 2006. When we realized June 9 fell on a Saturday in 2012, no other dates were an option.  :)

    4/29/11.   There's no real reason we picked it other than it's the date that worked out best for us and our venue.  Also, we wanted to be engaged for a year, so that worked out well since we got engaged on 4/23/10.

    June 25th 2011. Because I wanted a Spring/Summer wedding and our Anniversary is July 4th. But we didn't want it on that weekend.

    No real reason other than we wanted a water location and it would be too cold in the winter to do so IMO.
