Invitations

I bought DIY invitations at Michaels about 2 months ago.  FI now tells me he thinks we should return them and order online as we did our STDs.  I am looking at Vista Print and David's Bridal.

Which do you recommend?

Also, I know the RSVP cards go inside, do I also include accommodation card?  I mean to let guests know where we blocked rooms?

Yes, you can include the hotel information. I ordered samples from Vistaprint and was pleased, but we ended up going with an invitation from David's Bridal and were very satisfied. I would recommend either one as an option.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • Thank you Addie.  We got out STDs from Vistaprint and they were awesome.  I'm going to take a look at David's Bridal too.  Thank you.

  • www.123print.com is in the same price range as Vista Print.

A little more expensive invitation companies that are well liked by other Knotties are Magnet Street,  Wedding Paper Diva's, Invitations by Dawn, and American Wedding.

  • I really liked RSVP in Hingham, they are a small shop and you can go in and more or less design your invitations with them and instead of ordering them from a company (which you can do there too) you can have them make them and they are much cheaper than ordering from a company. Also they do beautiful work! I am so excited to send mine out because they are gorgous!

I used invitation solutions (http://www.invitationsolutions.cceasy.com/ )and was very pleased. But I was looking for budget invitations. I also looked and almost bought from 123print mentioned in pp
  • For my Kauai wedding, I had a shop on Etsy design a unique design for me.  Then, I printed it myself through Vistaprint which saved a TON!  I also loved doing it that way because I got a really unique design that was way less cookie-cutter than some of the pre-packaged invitations.

Here's on store on Etsy that has some adorable designs:
