Invatations

I just got the grand tour of my FI's grandfathers printing shop that is in his garage, complete with multiple printing presses. So we get to have everything that needs printed done very cheap and what I consider to be more beautiful. I know for sure that the save the dates need to be printed still. My main question is besides the invatation itself, the RSVP card and envelope, and the reception card, is there anything else that need printed. Since I'm not ordering all this from a professional company I'm not quite sure. Any help is appreciated.

  • You may want to use a menu card, and programs. If you are doing assigned seating. You could have your table numbers and escort cards printed as well. It just all depends on what you are planning.

I would go online to somewhere people buy invites, and look through what they include in packages. Then you could go from there, and decide what from that package you want to print or what you feel you don't need.

  • Programs for sure!  I don't know if you are doing bags for OOT guests, but you may want a Weekend Timeline or a Welcome letter printed for the bags.
  • maybe any tags for anything? Like favors at the wedding?
  • Agree with PP, definitely go online and see samples of what you may want.
