So yesterday as I was driving to work, I heard the song "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz for the first time and fell in love with it.  I think the song itself sounds beautiful and I really love the lyrics.  I suggested to Fi that we use this as our First Dance song, and he said he liked it a lot.

I'm wondering what people think of this song?  Originally, I imagined us dancing to a happier lovey-dovey song, but I love the message that no matter what the couple goes through, they will still work through things together.  Is it too depressing?  What would you think if you heard this at a wedding?

    I hadn't heard it before but I just listened to it. I think it's a great song for your first dance.

    I got teary eyed.  I think it's perfect for a first dance song!  I would probably see about cutting out the middle part that gets faster though ... 4 minutes is a long time too.

    Same here! 

    I really love it, I am just concerned that it might be too "we're going to make it through all obstacles" vs. "I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you" happy dance song.

    I really like it! Just make sure that it's a song that you won't get sick f on the next couple of years. I'm not saying you will, but the radio might play it to death.
