Seattle honeymoon

Hey ladies, I'm a Florida June bride (2 months from tomorrow!!) and my FI just finished booking our rooms for our honeymoon. We're spending 3-4 days in Seattle then taking the ferry to Victoria BC for another few days. He's got several ideas for activities as well, but I wanted to get a local's perspective. We're staying at the Alexis boutique hotel right by Pike Place Market and not planning on renting a car, planning to use the rail system to get everywhere we need to go. We are going to eat at SkyCity one night and also visit the original Starbucks (I am currently a Starbucks barista). What is one site/activity that you would say is the MUST SEE/DO for us? Thanks for your help!!!

    www.theochocolate.com
    www.argosycruises.com
www.branzinoseattle.com - really nice, romantic dinner place, the best polenta in town!
www.mollymoonicecream.com - crazy flavors, the line is worth the wait!
www.kneehighstocking.com/ - fun little speakeasy with cool drinks. You'll need to read the rule on how to get in.

You've got the top two covered - Pike Place/Starbucks and Space Needle.

I'd also suggest just walking along the waterfront and piers.  Checking out the little corny shops along the way.

yay!! we had our wedding at Hotel 1000 (across the street from the Alexis) but also used the alexis to book extra guests and they were AMAZING! They offere us a honeymoon suite too!

Looks like you got the basics covered. Maybe try a Tom Douglas restaurant while you're here as well!!

I would actually recommend doing the market tour. I thought it was really pretty interesting.

    Check out the CityPass: http://www.citypass.com/seattle

    Start browsing http://www.seattlemag.com/ and http://www.seattlemet.com/

And, keep an eye out on Ticketmaster for any concerts you might want to go to as well as http://www.zoo.org/zootunes

What other types of activities are you looking for? You could go kayaking on Lake Union and go past the Sleepless in Seattle houseboat. There's all sorts of hikes just off of I-90 like Mt. Si and Tiger Mountain, of course going up to Rainier, and really, even though you aren't renting a car, I'm just saying, the Sounder goes both ways and there's some cool stuff in Tacoma like the Glass Museum, Washington State History Museum, Art Museum, and some well-regarded bars like 1022 South: http://tmagazine.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/01/04/a-hilltop-apothecary-1022-south/

When you say, " planning to use the rail system to get everywhere we need to go," what do you mean? We have mostly buses for public transportation. I use all the time, to get everywhere, but could be confusing if you're from out of town. And not entirely romantic. But, if you mostly plan to stay in the downtown area you may be fine.
