Bridesmaid gifts

Hi ladies,

Ok, I need help, lol. I'm probably totally over-thinking this, so honest feedback is welcome.  What are you giving your bridesmaids?

We're doing my bachelorette party next weekend and taking advantage of Spa Week at the Firesky Resort. So, I'm paying for a treatment for each of my girls, and then my sister is my MOH and is flying in for it, so I'm paying for 2 services for her.

Then, I wanted to get them jewelry to wear the day of...but I'm not sure now if that's the best idea. I found an AWESOME bracelet today and thought...ok I should just get this for all of them, but is that lame? Should I be getting each of them something different?  There are some super cute wine glasses at Urbayn that are just for bridesmaids...but my sister doesn't drink...so then I could just get the bracelet for her? But she's super artsy fartsy and has crazy cute style and I'm not sure she'll like it - Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh

I've been a bridesmaid SEVERAL times, and each time was different. A few brides got us all the same thing but personalized, and then one of my bf's got us each bracelets but different styles.

I also picked up flip flops for each of them to put on for the reception, but I'm not really counting that bc really, they're $2.50 at Old Navy, it didn't put me out =)

Thoughts?

Thanks ladies!

I think treating all your girls to spa treatements is gift enough! I made jewelry for a friend to give to her bridesmaids and it was all the same. For my wedding, I think I'm going to give the girls jewelry that is similar but different since they all have different tastes. I also like the idea of them looking like individuals at the wedding, since they're all wearing the same dress. I definitely wouldn't stress out about it. I was a MOH last summer and got nothing, so you can't be worse than that. :)

I think you win the award for Most Considerate Bride to Her Attendants.  You are taking such good care of them and I'm sure they love you for it.
As far as the gifts go, there's no law saying you have to give them all variations of the same thing.  I'm gifting as though it was their birthday and getting them each something specific to each girl that I know they will each love.

I also think the spa treatment would be enough!  I went to the coach outlet, and got them all a wristlet.  After a 20% off coupon off of the outlet price, they were $40 each.  I picked out a different pattern/color for each one of them.

I'm glad. There are enough things to stress about when planning a wedding!

     Nilla, cute idea! :)

I got the same flip flops from old navy but added a jewel to the top that matched the wedding colors. I also bought jewelry for my MOH and BM's, but I bought the MOH a different set.  I added some lotions and put everything into a cute basket.  So I think it's ok to do something different for your girls. I think the gifts should be something they will wear or use again not just wedding related. But you have way outdone yourself with the spa pkgs. Kudos to you.
