When did you..

have your "it's so real" moment?  I am 3 months out and still haven't had that moment.. I've done the tasting, the fitting, the flowers, the registry and invites...and still nothing...

Haven't really had it yet either...kinda did when we sent out the invites, but really don't think I'm going to have that feeling until I'm walking down the aisle...

I'm 9 days out, and I'm still not sure that it's "real" to me yet.  I had a semi-real moment when i sent out invites and got our first RSVP back.  I don't think it will really truly feel real to me until we're in MN and all of our friends are there too.  Planning from out of state, I think made it seem less real for some reason.  I actually drive home to MN tomorrow and it's just now feeling real.

I've just been thinking about this very question lately. I don't think it will feel really real until I'm in Minnesota at the end of August. Just like pp planning from out of state doesn't make it seem quite as real.

I am however getting more and more exciting! :) It's been really fun to finally register, schedule hair appointments, and buy favors, shower and rehearsal dinner dresses, lingerie for B-pics, our cake topper, and our ceremony sand set. Yay! But excitement is different than that "real" feeling for sure.

It didn't hit me until we were about to go up the aisle!  We were cool as cucumbers at our first look earlier and taking photos before the wedding and it didn't really sink in completely until we had paused by ourselves in a side chapel to take a moment alone together.  Involuntary waterworks may or may not have been involved.

It first felt sorta real when I got my first shower gift in the mail, and then again when I had my first dress fitting. I'm sure I'll be freaking out when it's time to walk the aisle though! Even now when I think about it all, I tear up!

Buying my dress. Which was one week after he proposed. I was in a rush because we knew we were going to have a pretty short engagement. I had on the dress and liked it, but was hesitant because I felt I needed to try on more... then U2's "Beautiful Day" came on in the shop -- H's original plan was to propose the day of the U2 concert. I just stood there staring at myself in the mirror, listening to the song, and thinking "Holy crap, after 7 years of being together, we're really getting married!!!" I couldn't give them my money for the dress fast enough!
