We booked our honeymoon last week, we are going to Niagara Falls (Canadian Side) right after the wedding (Neither of us have ever been there) and then in December we are taking my daughter to Disney for a week which is kind of why we are taking a smaller honeymoon. We found out the earlier you book the better deals you can get.
That is fun! I've been to Niagra Falls a number of times. It helps that i'm from Ontario!
I think we've decided on Jamaica but I'm letting my FI's aunt whos a travel agent do some research for us and see if there is anything else that tickles our fancy!
If I were to book today though, We'd be going to Couples Swept Away in Jamaica!

Any recommendations of things to do there? All we have done so far is book the hotel cause if I booked before Dec. 1st I could get 3 nights for $500.00 in a king fallview room and dinner credits and some other stuff which I thought was an awesome deal.
We live right in Buffalo, NY so we've been to Niagara Falls USA side plenty of times, but we actually went last spring and stayed overnight on the Canadian side. We had some sort of package through Living Social. We stayed in the Oakes, went and had dinner at Remington which was pretty good but not as fancy as we would have liked, we drive up to this chocolate factory like a half hour away and took a tour, and at night we walked up to Clifton Hill, got some souvenirs and snacks, and mostly just walked around the area. We also walked around the falls once it was dark because it was so beautiful all lit up. The next day we had breakfast at Applebee's and went to the casino. There's so much to do up there that 3 days will probably be way better than just one!

<div>Oh there's alot to do. Marine Land is close, then Cliffton Hill had ALOT of attractions and things to do. If youre going in September they should still be doing fire works over the falls on Friday & Sunday. Its so beautiful to see. They usually light up the falls as well. Maid of the mist is pretty fun. </div><div> </div><div>Hmmm geez theres so much to do!</div>

We have kind of talked about it a bit, and thrown a couple different ideas around. I've never been to Europe before, so I would love to do a couple weeks in France, or maybe a ski trip to Switzerland. FI did a five-week tour of Europe when he finished school, so he's already been, but he isn't against going back!
I keep having thoughts ideas and dreams about the honeymoon, but this is all on the FI. He is the one planning and organising the whole thing so we will see I've given him plenty of hints and ideas though
We were planning to go to Venice, Italy but now I really want to go to Greece. I'm doing my research and seeing which one would be best even though I would like to go to both. We are going to India after our wedding for a friend's wedding so I thought about just staying awhile longer than planned and honeymoon in India. It's all up in the air at the moment

<div>Oh I want to go to Greece sooo much!! But I've heard its better to go in the summer so that kind of rules it out since we'd be going in the first week of October!</div>

Were looking at a cruise of italy and greece, departs from barcelona. We have both been to europe before, but never to those countries. we would be going the first week of october. someone said that isnt a good time to go?
Our goal is to stay in a bed & breakfast in Colorado and enjoy the beauty of fall in the mountains of Colorado. But realistically we will probably just save money and buy a Living Social or Groupon Getaway deal closer to the wedding.
I've been to both Venice and Greece- both amazing. Venice you can really do in a day's time. It's really small and there's only so much to see. A friend of mind did a cruise that took off from Venice, and toured through Greece, and said it was amazing.
Those of you considering Greece I would really recommend stopping in Naxos. All the beautiful of the other islands like Santorini, but none of the crowds. Very low-key. I would also recommend Crete- beautiful beaches, lots of history, and it offers a slightly different feel than the rest of Greece.
