venues in the lancaster/zanesville area

helllo fellow brides...we are planning a wedding in that area due do to families.  im from the springfield/dayton area and his families from the new philadephia area so lancaster/zanesville area is the half way point.  the downer is not having any knowledge of the area.    we are planning a winter/christmas themed wedding for dec of 2012  we want rustic but beautiful.  we are lookin for a barn type venue  if anyone has any ideas or suggestions we would be thankful...thanks again

    I think think I might have the perfect place for you!  (And I hopeone of the two work because I grew up in that area and there is not much else around...)

    I don't know of many other rustic venues around there.  However other venues in the area include:
    -Bryan Place
    -Longaberger Golf Club
    -Secret Auditorium (I went to a wedding in the basement there a couple of weeks ago and it was nicer than I expected.)
    -Eagle Sticks
    -Veteran's Complex at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds (basically a big, empty blank slate.  The pictures on the website don't do it justice.  I went to a wedding there over the summer, and with uplighting and pretty centerpieces, it looks beautiful!)

    We just put our deposit for October 2012 at Crockett's Run in Logan. Being from the Lancaster area, I was really disappointed in some of the more local venues either because of price or just over all feel. We fell in love with Crockett's Run, it'd definitely rustic, but the scenery is beautiful.
