Return address on invites?

Do we need to have a return address on the wedding invites? Is it required by the post office? If yes, can it be on the back or does it have to be on the front?

I am not sure if it is required but I had mine printed on the back.

Ours were printed on the back. I say have them even if they aren't required... if they get lost in the mail or sent to the wrong address it will get back to you.

I am doing mine on the back. I would def put it just in case you have someones wrong address it can come back to you.

I agree with PPs.. don't think it is required, but its a good idea, in case you have a wrong address on one, it will come back to you. Mine are on the back flap.

Ours will be on our back flap. I purchased a rubber stamp off etsy and had it personalized with our names and address. It is adorable! Search for it, there are plenty of styles. It was alot cheaper to do a stamp than to have them printed on by our stationer and will save time than printing them outselves. The stamp also comes out very nice and clean.
