Bachelor Party

So what are all you ladies doing (or did you do) during your fiance's bachelor party? Or doing on another weekend if it didn't coincide?

I didn't want a bachelorette party...I'm not a party person to begin with, and my sisters and best friend who are most important to me, all live out of town and wouldn't be able to come. But my one sister lives in NYC and will be in town that weekend for me to stay with her and was totally psyched when I suggested it and I was very excited to book a trip there for the weekend when my fiance's bachelor party was scheduled! This is what I always wanted to do, just me going to visit my sister, and we have some fun activities planned even though it's going to be a quick trip!

I feel just a teeny bit bad that fiance's guys dropped the ball and didn't make plans to go out of town although that's what fiance wanted -- he knew I wasn't thrilled with the idea of a whole weekend of bachelor foolishness, and I had joked to him that I was going to go to NYC and have a lot more fun, but I didn't think it was actually going to end up turning out that way! He was mopey and a little jealous but understood I don't get to see my sister often and told me to go. So I'm going!

I know we're both having a bachelor/bachelorette party, but I don't know if they'll fall on the same weekend. I'm doing dinner with my girlfriends at a nice restaurant followed by clubbing downtown (something I rarely do, so excited!) The guys are going to Cocoa Beach, staying at a condo, doing some casino cruise thing and whatever else those boys do. (Best man told me there would be "hookers, midgets and booze involved"..I'm hoping it's only one of the three LOL) If both parties fall on the same weekend, then I'll just enjoy the time with my friends. If not, I'll probably spend the time he's gone working on homework and enjoying the peace and quiet.

I'm having a bacherlorette party, but FI isn't having a bachelor party. He's been married before and had a wild b-party then, and the end result was him ending up in jail for the night with his best man. He's not normally like that, but he grew up in a small town and married young, and got hauled in for being intoxicated in public, and for being a minor. He was so drunk he insisted that his BM come with him (even though BM didn't do anything wrong), so off went FI and his BM to jail. Since I wasn't the one to bail him out or marry him (at that time) I find this story hilarious.

So that turned into a long story, but I find it humerous so I thought I'd share. I don't know what we're doing for my b-party, but we're keeping it pretty low key; we'll probably just hit some local clubs in Seattle or Bellevue and go dancing, since that's all I really want to do, and one of my girlfriends who lives in NC is coming into town for it, since she can't come to the actual wedding. I'm excited!

I'm going to NYC for my bachelorette weekend at the end of March. Friday night is just dinner with my BMs and MOH, Saturday night is the night of festivities and I have no idea what we are doing! My MOH asked if I wanted strippers... and I'm kinda eh about the whole thing. I want everyone else to have fun, but that isn't really my thing... my fiance will also have his that weekend while I'm gone, and I'm nervous that he will have strippers. I don't want to block it for him, but I also know I'll get kinda jealous if I hear about it.

Either way, I'm looking forward to nights of dancing and boozing and hanging out with my girlies!!

Ours will be seperate weekends. Mine is actually on the 10th!!!! My MOH works for FEMA and has a hard time getting off work. So next weekend at this time I will be in bachelorette party mode in Dallas!!! FIs will be the following weekend. For mine I dont know full details obviously but I know we are meeting for dinner and bar hopping and MOH has something special up her sleeve I just dont have a clue what it is but everyone says im going to have a blast. FIs bachelor party will be a weekend in Shreveport so they can gamble at the casinos. While he is away I plan to have a few girls over to do some last minute DIY stuff.

FI actually had his last weekend and he went to DC with all of his buddies. I know they did a lot of drinking, went to a strip club (FI told me it was awful and they were only there for a half hour, strip clubs aren't his thing).

My bachlorette is the 24th. We are going to the casino, doing dinner spa, a little gambling. I'm not into the stripper thing, so I am excited for a girls night!

I just had my bachelorette party and shower last weekend, and it was so much fun! That was out of state, and FI stayed home.

Now FI is in New Orleans with all his buddies for the bachelor party, and I'm hanging out at home. I've already gotten a text from one of the guys claiming that FI's wasted, and a phone call from another of the guys asking if I want pictures of all their packages texted to me Brett Farve style (answer-no). I'm thinking I won't answer the phone for the rest of the evening!

I'm actually not sure when my FI's bachelor party will be, but I don't really want a bachelorette party. I'm a stress case so what I really want is the day before the wedding to relax, get mani/pedi's and spend time with my family from out of town. I think we're also planning a Disneyland trip, but I work there so it's definitely more for my visiting family than for me! I just want to keep things low key. :-)

epona my FI is in NOLA right now too for his bachelor party!!! My bachelorette party is the 9-10th in Nashville where I live. All my BMs are from out of town and few of them have been here so they suggested it. I didn't want a big thing,b but my sisters wouldn't hear of it. Anyway, it'll be a blast. To answer the original question, I've been getting ahead on wedding stuff and am now watching Bride Wars (actually really funny) and drinking wine

We're doing ours the same weekend (23-25), seperate locations. The guys are going to Newport, RI and us ladies are flying to Atlantic City. I cannot wait for this!

FI's friends are going to just hang out and drink one night, not sure when. My bachelorette will be the night before the shower (since all BMs will be in town). We're going out in Atlanta!

We are both doing ours the weekend before the wedding. He will go to a strip club I'm sure, while I am at a drag queen dinner show. Then we will meet up afterwards and all party together.

I plan on getting married next year. I dont want any bachelor or bachelorette parties!!! I feel that it deafeats the whole purpose behind getting married! I am a very jealous person. I would probably follow him to his bachelor party and crash it in front of all his friends with my girls!

We would crash the party by showing up looking really sexy and literally crash the party. We would proably not get married.
