Hey Brides.... just got an email from The Bendora Wedding Gallery about wedding planning packages starting at $295. I have never heard of them and personally have my own amazing Wedding Planner (PM me if you're interested... she's increadible!!!)...just thought I would share!!! :)

    Yeah I got the email too.  Has any one used them?  I keep wondering what I get for $295 because it sounds like a great deal.  I wasn't planning on using a WP but it would be nice.

    Same here.  I was wondering about that e-mail.  The price in the e-mail seemed reasonable.  I'm looking for a "Day Of" Wedding Coordinator.  Does anyone know of one who would be reasonably priced?

    The $295 is only for ala carte items. When I spoke with them a few weeks ago about it they told me DOC was actually $695 but that I could certain things instead like pay someone $75 to do a timeline, etc. 

    Ellyn Whiteash charges by the hour and is very reasonable ($40/hour). I have heard great things about Ana Titus ($450 set price for DOC) and I have heard a woman named Lourdes is very good as well. Happy hunting!

    I just recently hired The Bendora Wedding Gallery for both planning and Day Of Coordination. I stumbled across them because they were next door to my jeweler and I was a little confused at first with the "Wedding Agent" thing, but after tallking to them and taking home the info to review and posting on the boards :-) I went ahead an pulled the trigger.  Their complete planning package (unlimited appts, calls & gallery visits) is $595...but I got a special of $295. There are no other charges or ala carte items. (As far as I could see...and they told me I wouldn't have any other charges unless I wanted Day Of or Weekend help) I went ahead and booked them for Day Of Coordination also, which was $695. (my sister didn't have anyone at her wedding day of and I knew I wanted that. :-) So total, I got a complete planning package and Day of coordination for $990. Everywhere else I looked was much higher.

    I just recently hired them, so I'll post a full review later...but after comparing them to other planners who were suggested to me, they were the best deal...plus they have a cute gallery...a few of the other planner I interviewed worked out of their homes...which was ok, but I just felt more comfortable going with someone who had an actual place of business and regular hours.

    Anyway...hope this helps! Like I said, I'll give a full review as I get more into the planning with them!

    On another note...does anyone know of a barn near Columbus? I was told about Everall barn in Westerville, but they don't service alcohol. Any others? Any suggestions are appreciated!
