Hair/Makeup in Winston Salem

I'm from Southport, getting married in Winston and having a hard time planning!  Any recommendations for hair stylist or makeup artist in that area? Thanks!

    Hey Ashley!  I think we have a friend in common - Kelly!  Sorry that I'm no help with the hair/makeup question, but I just wanted to say welcome and that the girls on here are great!  Check out www.ncbridebio.com for some vendor recs.  Good luck!

    I know a few brides have used a company called Updos.  They will come to your location and will get everyone's hair and makeup done in 2 hours.  They have a website with photos of their work so you can see if it is the right style for you.

    Hi there - I'm in Winston as well and I think I'm booked with Ashley Hurst of Bella Upstyles (http://www.bellaupstyles.com/Bella_Upstyles_Co/Home.html). She has great prices. The reason I say "I think" is because I had a hard time getting a hold of her and she seemed pretty laid back (no deposit or anything) so that was a little worrisome but I plan on scheduling a trial sometime soon so that should clear up any confusion on my part!

    I contacted Updo's, and they charge more if you do not have a bridal party.  $75 more.  I'm sorry, but I find that to be unreasonable.  So disappointing because I really wanted to use them!
