Not from CT need a salon!

I live up in Boston but we're getting married in Middletown, CT at the end of October.  I need some help finding an affordable salon for myself, my 9 bridesmaids and my mom! We're staying up at Rocky Hill so a salon  around those two towns would be best.  I'd like a place that can accomdate all of us at once, but I understand that realistically that will be tough. My budget is about $100 - $125 for my hair, and about $65+ for up-dos for my bridesmaids, or less for blow outs.

    Alta Moda is right in Rocky Hill.  My hairdresser that doesn't do wedding hair reccomended them.  I haven't gone to them yet, but the prices are good and they do come with alot of good reccommendations.  I'm planning on booking a trial for hair and make up with them.

    if you're willing to drive about 10 minutes from Rocky Hill, i'd recommend Oggi in Glastonbury.  ask for Nicole...she does amazing wedding hair.  they have a bunch of chairs so they might be able to fit most of your girls in at once...worth a shot!  their number is 860-657-4537.

    I go to Emanuel's in Middletown and TIna does my hair. She did my hair for my wedding, and it came out amazing.

    I also know that they did a bridal party of about the same size for my friends wedding...

    Gugliottis!!! They are amazing..they own the hair school I went to!! (I would say come to my salon but it would be super far) They're right in Rocky Hill, super easy to get to, really talented. There are a few girls there that I know well and they do amazing work, make-up too!!!

    I also used to go to Emmanuels and they do great up do's. I don't like them for haircuts, which is why I left.

    I go to Beautiful People salon in Cromwell, CT- right inbetween Rocky Hill and Middletown. They do wonderful jobs with cuts and updos.


    Where are you getting married? I'm also getting married in Middletown in March!

    Beauty Entourage in New Britian will travel to you.  www.beautyentourage.com I just had my hair and makeup trial at the salon and LOVED IT.  The min. for them to travel for hair is 3 girls and the min for makeup and $200 (roughly the bride plus 2-3 bridesmaids).  Or you can just go to the salon either way they're fantastic!

    Hamna Gilani at www.thepaletteforyou.com also travels to the clients loaction. Her prices are quite reasonable and i have seen her work at a couple of weddings, its quite fresh and nice and the bride and bridal party looked amazing in the pictures.
