I have!  We had our wedding there in August - but on a Friday night.  Pictures in my married bio!  Highly recommend it - though I wasn't as thrilled with my planner - the hotel and space itself was great.

I got married there in June and absolutely loved it! We got married on a Saturday night.  I highly recommend the Seaport. We had a wonderful experience with everyone there.

We had our wedding there on a Friday night in June and I couldn't recommend them more highly.  You definitely can't go wrong with the Seaport.  You can read my review in my bio (under Vendor Reviews) and see some pics as well (under Reception).  You can also check out our slideshow which has some more pics in it (link in siggy).  Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions about them - eeyore4771 at gmail dot com

I was going to go look at the Seaport as well.  About how much a plate is it there for a seated dinner?  I noticed that it includes alot!

Blueeyed - FI and I looked at Seaport right around this time last year. From the info packet I got, the plated dinners were between 160 and 198. This doesn't include liquor.... Of course, the prices might be different now.

Since our wedding was on a Friday night, we were able to get either 1) a $5000 reduction on the minimum or 2) $2500 minimum reduction and 10% off per person.  Here's what I remember being included in the price: cocktail hour open bar with hors d'oeuvres, three course entree, cake from Montilio's or Konditor Meister, parking for guests (not for those staying overnight, though), all gratuities and fees, and tons of personal and amazing service.  You will not need a DOC if you go with the Seaport.  They confirmed and coordinated with all of our vendors, and they were like a well-oiled machine the day of.  They definitely go above and beyond for their couples.

It does include alot - the prices vary depending on what you get. Fish is around $170 and Meat is around $180 - I think.

I recently got married at the Seaport and have to share my experience. The Lighthouse room, my planner, and the food was delicious (many guests said it was the best they've had at a wedding!). I loved everything about the wedding. The hotel itself on the other hand was awful.
They were hosting a conference of what appeared to be unsupervised teenagers. My guests were subjected to foul language in common areas, people dressed inappropriately chain smoking outside (wearing only bathrobes in the middle of winter) and being woken up in the night by obnoxious guests hanging out in the hallways. There was also a sign prominently displayed stating that the guests of the other conference had damaged a room (why they announced it, I'm not sure. The conference was of young AA members, so they weren't drunk either). My room and my mothers rooms were not ready (making us late for the rehearsal) along with many of our guests- we were also told we would be put on the same floor, but were spread throughout the hotel.
I guess the moral of the story is, check what other events are being held at the hotel. I loved my experience during the wedding and would recommend the Lighthouse Room, but I was mortified that our guests were subjected to that kind of trashy environment before and after the event.
