Need some ideas please

Hi Ladies,

I have a while to go before my wedding, but I work so much I just try to get done what I can when I can.  Right now, I know its early but I am thinking about my reception decor and what I can do to tie in my wedding colors.  My colors are navy blue, coral, and silver.  I am trying to think of ways to incorporate the colors into my wedding.  I have white table cloths and I thin kmy centerpeices will look something like the picture I have included. Other than that, that's about all I have. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

  • If you plan on having menus or table numbers you could always incorporate the colors that way. Also the napkin colors and chair sashes if you plan on them could be a different colors. It is definitely not too early to start thinking about these things!

  • I would do napkins and chair ties in the colors. Also up lighting and submersible gel beads could be worked into those. Or a flower submerged in the water

  • Im sure you have but just checking twice..what about photog ? Videographer? Shoes for you ? DOC (day of coordinator) 

    Have you looked into invites and design for programs yet ? Are you doing STDs ? 

    I feel you on when ppl say you got time. Im like how you gon tell me. You dont know what I got going on..When I first starteed back planning my wedding it was in April/May now its bout to be Nov. I still got things to pay off and still 2 more deps to put down by end of Nov. They better gone somewhere !

I work three jobs and I am planning a wedding and a move to another state.  They should be asking what can I do to help.  I am looking for a photo and videographer now.  I am hoping to have them booked by the end of the month.  The problem is, they are so expensive they dont fit in my budget.  I have a friend that is going to take pictures starting with the rehearsal dinner until the day after but I do want some professional ones done.  I got an email today from a photo and I am going to post a post about it in a few to see what yall think.  STD are out. I forgot to add that to the list as well as i have my photo booth booked as well with a deposit down.  I actually have two DOC because I have a very large wedding party. SO I have one responsible for people and one responsible for decor.  I actually have four pairs of shoes I am trying to decide between.  I am still thinking though, so even though I have shoes in my possession, I dont have shoes actually chosen.</div>

  • You are on the right track.... This is the time to be thinking about reception decor.. I love that centerpiece, love it.. Was thinking of something similar.. One our other knottie sisters had one and it was amazing based on the pics. LOL.. Anyways, can you do a silver table cloth with blue runner and blue napkins? and then do a silver table cloth with coral runner and coral napkins. kind of alternate tables with the same centerpiece.. I hope i didn't confuse you.. I post a picture of my linen and colors so you can get a visual.
