NWR: Hotel recs

Hi ladies - my bestie (and bridesmaid) is going to be joining me for a girls night when FI has his stage and i was wondering if there were any really nice but reasonably priced hotels where we could reserve a room (litchfield or hartford county preferrably). i was thinking spa night and movies and stuff, since FIs party is prob going to continue at our house after they get out of the official party. not really interested in locking my bedroom door to keep all the drunks out lol

Farmington Marriott was SUPER nice.  Way better than a normal Marriott.  We were just there over the weekend.

we stayed in the litchfield inn on our wedding night and it was great!  it was a little expensive (i think it was $200) but worth it!

the Farmington Inn is also very nice, but i have no idea how pricey.

would you consider downtown Hartford at all?  There are a BUNCH of hotels (and you could easily walk to dinner then come back to the hotel to chill).  i know the residence inn and the marriott are both excellent.  you can usually get rooms downtown for about $120/night...

thanks for the litchfield inn idea - i grew up in litchfield but i was thinking somewhere closer to fun things :)

You may want to stay away from the Hilton in downtown Hartford. It's been getting really bad reviews from people I know that stay there frequently who used to love it. I've personally never stayed in a room there- but general complaints of dirty rooms/bathrooms- loud pipes- no hot water- weird things. The Mariotts that were suggested are better.
