ice sculptures

did you or will you be having an ice sculpture or ice luge in your wedding?  My fiance and I are debating to have one or not....

    I didn't have either because I just figure, it melts! It's kind of like washing money down the drain. :)  Though in general, I think they're cool, especially if you don't do something like a swan, heart, etc.  lol

    We were going to do one, but we decided to do uplighting instead.  I was recently at a wedding where they had one and I thought it was cool, but only if it is used in the actual making of the drink (think - they mix the liquors at the top and pour them through the luge to cool them)...  if it is just there for decor, I don't know if it would be entirely worth it - although they are very cool.  Just my thoughts though...  :)
