i dont know anyone, but I'm picking 3 songs that mean alot to me
the 1st one will be one sweet day by mariah carey and boys II men

for my mother that passed away in 2008 ,and anyone who has lost someone close

then 5 mins later a 2nd song will  be for the brides maids, and grooms men

and the 3rd will be my father and my song

We're using the Happy Couple Duo. They've gotten a lot of great reviews on this board and were really nice during our meeting. Also, they can play just about anything and will even learn new songs for your wedding day. In addition, their prices are extremely competitive. Here's their website: http://www.thehappycoupleduo.com/

    Hope this helps!

I'm very confident in Rosé Trio.  They're a celloist and two violinist team.  What blew me away was their sound and professionalism.  They're older, have been doing speciifically events like weddings all of their lives, and all have degrees from CCM in their perspective instruments.

Le Four String Quartet will be playing our wedding: http://web.me.com/lydia.woodin/Lydia_Woodin/Le_Four_String_Quartet.html.

They're also CCM grads and there's flexibility in terms of which instruments are used and how many people play.  We're doing a violin and cello duo for the ceremony and the cocktail hour.

What type of music are you looking for? Just a soloist? Guitar player? Piano? A band, or string quartet?

Let us know a few more details, you may get more accurate recommendations then! :)

I used Brian Deyo/the Newburg Trio.  It was classical guitar/cello/violin.  It wasn't the traditional string ensemble, but I LOVED it.  Perfect for us!

I used Elizabeth Motter, the harpist, for my ceremony.  I also have a friend who plays a lot of weddings, classical guitar.  Both of these are really affordable, beautiful, and classic options.  PM me if you would like contact info.
