A good reminder for all (from a 7th grader!)

One of my students had her Bat Mitzvah this past weekend with a hundred people at a schmancy country club.

I asked her how it went and she said she had fun and showed off some of the jewelry she received.

Then she said it was funny because she had been waiting her whole life for it, but it went by so fast and now it was already over.

I just thought that was a good reminder for all of us who are stressing about details or money or other drama when it comes to weddings. Really, in the end it is going to go by so fast, so take the time to enjoy it and don't worry so much!

    Great advice ... thanks!! I know I randomly think about how fast the day is going to fly by and all the sweat, work and money that goes into it... we HAVE to remember to enjoy the day when it actual gets here!!

    That is great advice.

    A friend that is celebrating her 1 year aniversary this month also had great advice:

    She said to try to remember to take a moment to look around, take a breath and take it all in. Look at the result of all of your hard work, the people you love around you having fun and that they are all there to celebrate your love!

    I thought it was great advice! Hopefully I will remember to do this!
